Enormous rain cloud: composite of several images with a field of view approaching 180º. A remake of a less successful earlier attempt to compile the image.
Attempting to depict an anvil at distance in 3D. Base line 50 metres, single camera, quick dash right. Goes some way towards what I was hoping for.
Morphing into a low lying small anvil cloud.
Note the transition from cumulus congestus to cirrus cloud on the upper boundary of the spreading anvil formation.
Flammagenitus (from the Latin flamma, which means fire). Black smoke from a city fire is converted to white incus by nucleation in the humid Bangkok air. A dramatic and unusual sight.
