A misty looking Kiyotaki Tunnel tonight. It has the reputation of being one of the most haunted locations in Japan. This reputation is based on the following. It was originally a railway tunnel built by unpaid workers. Several died during it's construction. It is exactly 444meters in length which is a very unlucky number in Japan as it is the kanji for death three times. It is the entrance to a popular suicide area (I have come across a body in this area). In addition there are plentiful stories of dizziness in the tunnel, strange sounds with no source and the sound of a woman crying in the forest, amongst others
