Mist and cloud on Mount Omine, Japan. The mountain is the center and training ground for the Yamabushi Monks who are Japanese ascetic hermits. The mountain site was accepted as a UNESCO world heritage site among some controversy due to its ban on women. However, this ban is more of a request to respect the ancient Shugendo religion and is not rigorously enforced.
