I wanted a shot of the Nightingale Hotel, in Shanklin, named after “Ode to the Nightingale” written by English poet John Keats (1795-1821.) It has been decorated in a gothic style, featuring, among other things, faces of famous singers/actors/actresses who have now passed. Unfortunately, on each visit, a parked vehicle ruined the shot, so I have been creative instead, covering the one of the offending vehicles, and also adding other bits& pieces from other parts of the building. I think it works, and am happy enough with the result.
