There was a time I used to travel throughout Europe on a regular basis, but back in 2004, it was the first time I had travelled with a digital camera. During the last day but one of a 3 week tour of Italy, I was unfortunate to be the victim of a major memory card failiure, and probably over 95% of the hundreds of photographs I took became corrupted! I suppose lessons have been learned since, but it was very annoying to say the least! This was somewhere in Rome, not particularly one of my best pictures, but one of the very few which survived the tradegy. August 2004.
