Tucson, Arizona. While visiting in Arizona, I kept hearing stories about a Great Horned Owl that was hanging around the condo development. I finally saw one under the second floor eaves of a building just down from this one, but it was so tucked into the shadows that I couldn't get a decent shot of it. Imagine my surprise when I spotted it's friend/mate just a few buildings away. Nobody had told us that there were two. All I had with me was my little point and shoot which I pushed to it's limit to get this shot some two stories up. I was amazed at how it just sat there while a group of gawkers were gathered on the ground below.
