Alanson, Michigan. Dennis is the owner of Michel's Collision & Restoration. I've passed his place many times over many years without realizing what is behind his fence. As we passed the other day I noticed some automobile roof tops just peeking over the fence that told me that something old was there. On my way back, the gates were open and I spied some old cars and trucks. Today, I went back, met Dennis and got permission to go out back and photograph what I soon found out was the motherlode of old rusty vehicles. I couldn't believe my eyes. He really didn't have anything I'd consider modern. They ranged from Model T era to a '55 Chevrolet. There is lots of rat rod material available. Apparently he sells some as well as restoring others. It was a real pleasure to meet him and his sons who also work in the business.
