The Garden Street Iron and Metal scrapyard in the Camp Washington neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. Taken at Club Blatz's (AKA Cincinnati's Misfits With Camera's) "Junkyard Madness 6". I came across this scene in a small shed on the scrapyard grounds. Nothing was altered for the shot. I wish I knew the story behind this, but maybe it is more fun to make up your own.

She caused enough controversy in the neighborhood to warrant coverage in the Cincinnati Enquirer as well as in the national media. Perhaps you can see why she might be the most famous mannequin in the world.

A local barbecue shop used an identical scantily clad mannequin outside the carry out restaurant to successfully attract attention and business. The owner called her "Barbie Q". She caused enough controversy in the neighborhood to result in a lawsuit and receive coverage in the Cincinnati Enquirer as well as national media. Perhaps you can see why she might be the most famous mannequin in the world. This is the duplicate mannequin inside the store. The owner won the lawsuit which allowed him to continue to use her outside his restaurant, but has since closed the shop and moved on.
Ironically, there was an identical mannequin in an antique store at the other end of Reading, but she was always much more conservatively dressed.
