Zurn makes drains of various sorts. Coupled with all the holes, I'm going to assume that it is a drain of some sort.

Cincinnati, Ohio. I attended a Meetup on Creativity. We were each given 4 crayons and were told to use them in a photo. As you can see, I'm not overly creative, but it was a challenging and fun exercise.

Madison, Indiana. I don't know how or why it is painted like this, but it seems to be a stone placed to protect the side of a building from being run into. Perhaps the color is to make it more visible.

I didn't know ahead of time that we would go into the church or that I might want to take any pictures so, I didn't have my tripod with me. I set my camera on the floor, used my wallet to elevate the front of the lens to get the angle I wanted and used the timer to trigger the shot. I'm reasonably pleased with the results.
The church was built in 1870-1871 of the Italian Renaissance basilica design.
