Milford, Ohio. Seen at a cruise-in in Milford, Ohio. The odd thing is that it was not parked in the competition area, but in the spectator's area. For my money, it may well have won best in show. The paint job is unbelievable and I really love the wire wheels that look like wheels from a Model A. The interior is a matching orange leather. The only thing I didn't care for was the spoiler on the back deck, but that's a minor issue that I could certainly overlook.

2011 Dayton Concours de Elegance, Dayton, Ohio. I put this up because I thought it was an Autocar. I found my list of entries for the show and realized that instead it is an American LaFrance speedster owned by some people from Centerville, Ohio. I was confused because I knew it was built by a company more commonly known for their trucks as both Autocar and American LaFrance (fire trucks) are, but I didn't remember which. This thing is a beast as you can tell from the size of the people standing next to it. Don't quote me, but I saw on the web that they were built on a fire truck chassis, had an 802 cu in engine and a chain drive. My guess is that it is very rare while my memory is that it was very fast for it's era.

Dillonvale area of Cincinnati, Ohio. On January 30, 2012, I parked several rows back of this car, spotted it's tell tale square roof line and went to investigate. I couldn't believe I was looking at a fairly rare and extremely cherry vintage Plymouth. I don't remember ever seeing it at any of the area car shows I've attended over the years. Apparently the owner was taking advantage of the extremely rare warm Winter day we were having by exercising his beauty. Just as I got close, he began pulling out, but I managed to get this shot and a couple of others. Yes, it pays to always carry a camera. You can never tell what you'll find and might never see again.
