43rd Reunion Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Show in Georgetown, Ohio. This pumper was special order built by Cincinnati's Ahrens-Fox for the Crescent Springs, Kentucky fire department which is right across the river from Cincinnati. It is the only one that Ahrens-Fox built on a GMC COE chassis. Crescent Springs needed a short truck to fit into their firehouse.
The current owners are a father and son from Amelia, Ohio who have a large collection of old fire trucks as well as several farm tractors.
I previously shot it at the 2010 National Fire Heritage Muster at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ohio. Another view of the truck to better show how it is decorated for Halloween. Note the body under the front tire.

Clermont County Fairgrounds, Owensville, Ohio. Seen at the 2005 Pumpkin Run. There is something about these old trucks I love.

Dayton, Ohio. Captured in the parking lot at the 2011 Dayton Concours d'Elegance. Clearly it belongs in the show rather than the parking lot. I guess they didn't have a class for it.

Cincinnati, Ohio. The guy who owns this graciously pulled it out of his garage and across the street so I could get a decent shot of it. I remember seeing it several years ago when it was pretty rough. I think it is still a work in progress. He was telling me that he had to fabricate the rear fenders to make them fit over the dualies. He obviously likes red as he also has a nice Ford deuce coupe and just sold an old Plymouth of roughly the same color.
