Fort Ancient National Historic Landmark, Oregonia, Ohio. This distinguished gentleman was the elder at "A Gathering of Four Directions". Apparently he had suffered a heart attack about four weeks prior to the event and was happy to be there to open the celebration by giving the opening speech. He expressed his hope and desire to be in attendance next year and I hope he'll be able to fulfill his desire.

At the show, they asked all veterans to come into the circle and be recognized. I thought it was a wonderful gesture given that Indians are proportionally over represented in the military.
