Katy is Model Mayhem #1394026

Mason, Ohio. A local Meetup group run by the Camera Club of Cincinnati held a studio shoot that I had to take advantage of in the attempt to learn something. I shot with two different cameras, but really can't tell much difference from the results. It was a fun experience.

The Camera Club of Cincinnati has been in existence since 1884 which makes it one of the oldest clubs in the country.

At least in Cincinnati, photography Meetup groups have proven to be very helpful by providing shoots and workshops on just about any photography related subject you can think of. I highly recommend your checking them out where you live.

Taken at a Camera Swap held in Mason, Ohio. A local Meetup group run by the Camera Club of Cincinnati setup a portable studio at the swap where attendees could take some pictures of Katy.

I was surprised that there weren't more photographers taking advantage of the opportunity at the time I was there. I was fortunate enough to have time to take quite a few pictures of her. Even to this rookie, it was pretty obvious that Katy was an experienced model.
