Taken in the parking lot of the Hawthorn Suites Motel in Fogelsville, Pa. Brian and his nephew brought his beautiful Mack B-61 from his home in Chambersburg, Pa to the ATCA (Antique Truck Club of America) show in Macgungie, Pa. He restored it himself and did an obviously excellent job. As it turned out, they were staying in the same motel as we were so, we met and got acquainted. The next morning they were leaving to return to the show where they were going to load up and head for home when I caught this shot as they pulled out. I couldn't have had much better timing or luck.

Taken at the ATCA (Antique Truck Club of America) truck show held annually at the Macungie Memorial Park in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Brian and his nephew had transported his Mack B-61 from their home in Chambersburg, Pa. and were now getting ready to load up for the return trip. To pull the flatbed, he was using this Autocar that had also been in the show. It is fairly rare for a vintage show truck to also be used in a working capacity. I think it speaks well for Brian that he maintains his Autocar so well that he is willing to put it to work. Unfortunately, they had a flat on the flatbed trailer and an apparent slow leak in one of the tractor's tires which the were going to have to fix before taking off. Hopefully, all went well and they got home safely with their cargo in tack.

This guy was packed up on Sunday and beginning his long trip back to Rochester, Massachusetts when I caught him. When he saw me taking his picture, he stopped briefly, waved me over to his rig and handed me a couple of papers that told of the history of Brockway Trucks.
While there were probably more Macks that any other brand (the Mack assembly plant is only a couple of miles from the event), Brockways were well represented..
