Taken at the Glendale Gathering Car Show held annually in the Glendale Suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Cincinnati Transit Historical Association has a small fleet of retired buses which they have restored and maintain. It seem that every year they bring a different one to the show. This one is from the COTA (Central Oho Transit Authority" which serves the metropolitan Columbus area - hence the reason the sign says "Ohio State University". That sign must be old as the official name of OSU changed and is now "THE Ohio State University". While I realize that the greater Cincinnati area has a large population of OSU alumni, it doesn't sit overly well with me as I graduated from the University of Cincinnati back in the early 60's when UC beat top ranked OSU in two consecutive NCAA basketball finals.
I can just imagine how this bus would be received in Michigan during football season.

Taken at Union Terminal in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Green Line (aka The Cincinnati, Newport & Covington Railway) operated buses like this one from 1950 to 1972 on routes in the Northern Kentucky cities of Newport and Covington and across the Ohio river into Cincinnati. I believe they were the predecessor of the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky. Back when Union Terminal was a major passenger train hub, buses like this one were a common scene at the terminal.
