Taken in the early evening along US Route 31 in Bay View (Petoskey), Michigan.

The in was built in 1886 and has been operated by the Safford family for over 60 years. It's been several years, but I've eaten Sunday brunch there several times and have always enjoyed the food.

Safford also has several other facilities in the area where I've eaten. If you are hungry for good food in a pleasant atmosphere, I'd recommend any of them.

Many cars these days look a lot like other car from different manufacturers. I think that much of that may be due to trying to achieve aerodynamics. Gone are the cool fins and great chrome. Rather a shame.
