As I wrap up this guide book I've been working on for(ever) years, I'm revisiting a few photos I took in the past to save copies in an appropriate size and resolution for printing. In many cases it's also turning out to be productive to revisit the color and contrast adjustments using Lightroom 5, which offers new adjustments for adjusting brightness and whites compared to Lightroom 3. The spot removal cursor can now be dragged to remove linear objects. There's a new radial cursor to help with dodge and burn operations. So overall, I just get better results.

I ended up using this as the chapter header for the Lone Pine to Mojave chapter in my 320-page guidebook
Photographing California Vol. 2 - South, page 89.
