Tried to spot one of these for ages, finally spotted a few just as they spotted me and went off to hide. They played peekaboo for about ten minutes before flying off. One day guys I'm going to 'nail' you!!!

The search goes on. Twice a pair of Bearded Tits emerged from the reeds but on both occasions, by chance, I homed in on the female. I don't think it's a hormonal issue, I just need to remember to take my specs :0)

The whiskerless female is still quite pretty but not quite so stunning as hubby :0)
