To sun soaked woods we took a drive,
Where all around us nature thrives,
A journey made for summer days,
Spent out and about amongst the rays,
Filtering through branch and leaf,
The sunlight cast to earth beneath,
The leafy canvas bathed in beams,
A kaleidoscopic sea of greens,
As through the canopy light streams,
And on the Porsche's body gleams,
Heavenly glow that seeps and swims,
Dappled through towering breeze blown limbs,
I take the time to enjoy this,
A fleeting glimpse of summery bliss.
