Note the recently re-roofed island platform waiting room / shelter presumably being kept in good order for the reopening of the Bere Alston to Tavistock section of the former SR mainline due in the early 2020s.

Sprinter unit 150261 at Bere Alston station after arrival from Gunnislake. The driver can be seen changing ends. The guard will be changing the junction points at the ground frame ready for the train to continue to Plymouth (North Road). At Plymouth the train will operate a stopping service to Penzance hence the "Penzance" desitination blind now showing above the driver's cab.
