British International 1978 built Sikorsky S61N helicopter G- BFFJ arriving at St. Mary's Airport with a flight from Penzance on April 17, 2003. She had a passenger capcity of 28 persons with freight and luggage being carried in a forward compartment between the flight deck and the passenger cabin.

Westland WG30 G-BKGD in the hangar at the old Penzance Heliport.
This smaller helicopter used to operate a service from Penzance to Newquay airport to connect with flights to London and offer sightseeing flights. Originally built in 1982 for British Airways Helicopters the aircraft is now preserved at the Helicopter Museum at Weston Super Mare.
A new heliport at a nearby site is due to open in Spring 2020 offering flights to the Isles of Scilly once again.

The original Penzance heliport built in 1964 for British European Airways as a new base for their Isles of Scilly helicopter service which had commenced from Land's End Airport. The service passed to British Airways and finally British International Helicopters. The heliport closed along with the service in 2012 and the site has been redeveloped into a Supermarket. However, a new heliport is due to open on a nearby site in 2020 which is serve a new helicopter service to the Isles of Scilly.
Westland WG30 G-BKGD can be seen outside of the terminal building.
