Pont Carrog is a 17th Century Road Bridge completed in 1661 during the reign of King Charles II which crosses the Afon Dyfrdwy / River Dee.

An unusual view of and from the Steam Tug Tender DANIEL ADAMSON passing beneath the Acton Grange Railway viaduct which carries the West Coast Main Line across the Manchester Ship Canal. The historic steamship was operating a cruise from Ellesmere Port to Mode Wheel Locks, Salford.

Vehicle access bridge seen under construction on August 11, 2007.
The bridge was constructed in the new marshalling area created on the site of the infilled floating roadway cut. Once completed it would be moved out to provide a link from the marshalling area to the Isle of Man Steam Packet Landing Stage
