Isle of Man Railways Closed Lines Bus Tour participants boarding Isle of Man Transport Bus Vanin Wright Streetdeck SC5 Hybrid bus 310 built in 2020 at Douglas Station.

The closed lines tour was a full day tour which visited many closed line locations including Union Mills Station. St John's Stations, Knockaloe Internment Camp Railway, Peel Station, Kirk Michael Station, Sulby Glen Station, Sulby Bridge Station and the Ramsey Pier Tramway which was still technically closed on July 31st but participants were offered a run along the restored section which was due to open to the public on August 4th.

The former Kirk Michael Railway Station on the Manx Northern Railway line between St John's and Ramsey.

The abandoned station was converted into a fire station at the end of the 1970s.

The fire appliance resides in the former goods shed next to the station building which is used as an office and crew room. There are some displays of railway memorabilia inside.

The building was open for tour participants on teh Isle of Man Railways Closed Line Tour to inspect on July 31, 2024.

The bus is Isle of Man Transport Bus Vannin Wright Streetdeck Hybrid fleet number 310.
