August 1974, British Columbia

In the early 1970’s during college breaks, I hitchhiked across the U.S. and made two trips to British Columbia.

I had a Yashica TL Super 35mm, and a 3.5 Xenar Rolleiflex and used Ilford HP4 film


This photograph was made by me nearly 50 years ago.

I never had the money to make prints of everything, and only today really looked at the image for the first time since it was made.

I have no idea what was happening.


I know where and when, but not who, what, or why.
