The Lord can give, and the Lord can take away. I might be herding sheep next year. ~Elvis Presley
This chapel is located at the base of the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, Arizona. It’s such an iconic western scene filled with saguaros and dust. I arrived a bit too late to get inside the chapel area so that’ll be another excuse to visit in the near future.
Lens is not the Laowa… still can’t figure that out in settings…

One of my favorite movies from the 90s is Contact. The main character, portrayed by Jody Foster, keeps saying this line over and over as they get ready for launch into an interstellar traveling device.
Anyhow I imagine that old bone hasn’t skated for awhile so dropping into a ramp would be similar. Inspired by @spideygoeshygge (IG) He shot old bone using a skateboard a few months ago.😄👌

Created this shot in my bookshelf. The background is a piece of disposable reflective birthday party table covering. Used one Litra torch light with a red filter and a bit of mist from a facial mister. It’s always fun to see what can be created with pretty on the fly studio.👌

While wandering in the desert for some time, they discovered giant dead sunflowers full of seeds that the birds had not gotten to yet… seeds that stored valuable oils to prevent rusting and drying out…
Love the detail in these Death Gas Station series robots by Damtoys and Coal Dog. The steel ball and chain to the ankles and wrists are metal and fairly heavy - would definitely prevent these guys from escaping.
Shot with the Mamiya-Sekor 55mm f1.4 ☢️ lens on my Fuji X-T4.
