One from the archives - hoping to get out today and take more shots!
Burry Holms is a low island on the northwest tip of the Gower peninsula in South Wales. This became the home of St. Cenydd, the man who was cast to the sea as an infant and cared for by the seagulls of Worm's Head until he reached adulthood. An angel appeared to Cenydd and told him to go and make a place of worship for the people and this led Cenydd to Burry Holms.

Yet another sunset shot (sorry!) taken last weekend from the top of Rhossili down overlooking Rhossili Beach with Worm's Head in the distance. It was one of the most wonderful sunsets I've seen for a while!

Taken yesterday on a walk at Rhossili - I started out with grey skies and no contrast and on the way back the sun tried to break through the clouds giving a lovely patch of light on the sea. the house on the cliff is actually an old boat house built in the 20th century. There is no water, electricity or any mod cons and would definitely not be habitable - sadly! It went up for sale a few years ago but I haven't been able to find any more info on who now owns it. I have never seen anybody use it but for fisherman who fish off a flat section of ground outside the boathouse.
