Jeremy now has a PhD in History from OSU Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, USA. He has done it with honors at the top of his class all the way through his higher education. Do you think maybe his father is just a little proud?... No way…. I am a lot proud!... Dr. Jeremy Tewell sounds really good to me, I am very proud of my son.
This is my brother Frank and I. I was crying because I wanted so badly to go flying in the seaplane that would take you up for a fee. We had been to Michigan visiting my father’s sister and were on the way home to Kansas, USA. This was in Missouri at the Lake of the Ozarks. My parents wanted to get home before it was too late so they told me no that there wasn’t enough time. Being a little boy I was crying. I remember this moment very well and also remember telling myself that someday I would be a pilot. I stuck to that and have about 2,000 hours as pilot in command in small private aircraft that I have owned through the years. So for me this moment really did change the world.
John Tewell
My mother and father were married in 1935. They bought this home. The home was constructed in the 1890s out of full dimension rough sawed lumber and squire nails. It was a strongly built home. The siding was overlapping painted cedar planks. Not a fancy home but a very comfortable home to live in. Wish I could go back to those years.
