Behind the wall to the right is Colegio de San Juan de Letran. Across Anda Street to the left of Letran College is a building that has a large sign on the roof “La Insular Cigars & Cigarettes”. On to the left of that in the upper left corner is a large sign “Monday Mail” which may have been a news paper.

Look at the lady on the left. Her dress is of the 1940s style. I would guess the date on this picture would be 1940s maybe just before the Japanese invasion of WWII.
