This is my Buddhist Monk friend Udon. I first met him in 2004 and was very impressed with his views on life, his knowledge and understanding of world events and his expert mastering of the English language. Close your eyes and you would never know you were talking to a Thai Buddhist Monk. He is exceptionally intelligent and exceptionally peaceful. Have you ever heard of a Buddhist war? When I was in Thailand in July I was delighted to meet up with him again at a small rural temple he maintains in Phang Nga Province… I am not Buddhist and have no intention of becoming Buddhist, but I regard this person with very high respect.
