Intramuros, and the Pasig River looking west along the old Spanish Wall toward the Aduana Building and Baluarte de Santo Domingo that enclosed and went around the Aduana Building. Magellan Moment is to the right. The Baluarte de Santo Domingo part of the wall was removed in 1903 by the Americans to give better access to the Pasig River wharf area.

Notice the differences in the two similar photographs, the trees and the Aduana Building especially. Here had to be some years between the two. I don’t know which is the oldest but it is probably during Spanish rule before the Americans.

Photograph Illustration is from a book that is in the Cornell University Library, Ithaca New York State, USA.
