The EF 85mm 1.8 renders the background out-of-focus when shot wide-open. Not 'L-lens quality', but 'nearly-L' in bokeh. Snowflakes were falling and I caught one in front - lovely bokeh dot!

It was a disappointing winter, with significantly below average snowfalls in the the Mid-Atlantic region of the East Coast. The Discovery got some very light snow duty. Maybe next year we'll have more snow!
