Mango has found shelter in our tree-house throughout the winter months. Tango is next door in the green-house. When the weather allows they sleep together in the crows-nest .

I visited the zoo again on Saturday. As it was very cold I went straight to a warmer place and that's where the reptiles are. The green tree python in this photo is one of my favourite snakes at the zoo. It's a non-venemous snake and native to New Guinea.

A funny name for a special animal. The species is considered as critically endangered as there are probably less than 700 animals left in the wild. Therefore the animals at the zoo are even more important to prevent the species from extinction.
