Veneranda (D'Amario) Cerulli was the mother of Ernest (my grandfather) ,, She was married to Giuseppe Nicola Cerulli (died 1926 at age 52) who arrived in NY on November 26, 1906 on the Steamship Florida. According to the records at Ellis Island, Veneranda came much later with the children (01 April 1921) on the San Giovanni. Grandpa (Ernest) was 17 at the time. Something is wrong with those dates because Fillomena was 16 and Laura was 11 when they arrived. Veneranda was born in 1881 and passed away January 22, 1934 (age 53) of Pulmonary disease. At the time of her passing she was living in Port Chester NY. Guido Cerulli was born December 5, 1916, in Guardiabruna, Italy, to Giuseppi and Veneranda D'Amario Cerulli, and moved to Exeter, PA in 1921. He lived in Port Chester, NY, after leaving Exeter and moved to Rockland County in 1954. He married Florence D'Amario on April 27, 1941; she predeceased him in 1994. Uncle Guido died in 1999 at the age of 82.
