Trip in summer 2004 How young I was at 70!
When I was "young" - just 70 years old - I did feel those days very happy too.
My daughter's neighbour took me with their car to Washington DC, a city I love.
Of course, he took this picture not me, before getting to his government job.
Those were some very happy days for me and the weight of years felt suddenly no more.

I was very afraid of my 70th year, so I made a lot of pictures of myself to reassure me that it is not SO bad. And then, begin to play : what if I did a "grimace" like...
This is one of the firsts in this set made by myself. I'll be 72 now.
I caught one of the most happy moments, "a morning after", of my last years here going out to walk very early around the house. Still in Washington. going out for a walk very early in the morning around the place my daughters family lives.
