My fathers sister and his husband sitting, as no child is there, it must be before 1933
Transylvanians mountains, Hungary that time
You have to see, that they are lots of good looking man behind the couple, but my aount Mariska would not mary any other then the clever and funny Joska, small and with a huge hump on his back (which you cannt see here).
They had a very neat kid (after he finally accepted to mary a beautifull girl who waited until 26 for him to decide) and the daughter had my age, was born in 1934. They were happy together until the nazis took and killed him in Sibera, then, two years later took Mariska and her daugther and gazed them in Auschwitz.
I loved their daugther and went to school with her and played after school, but did not like them because they beat her, my parents never did that to punish me.

Server, boyfriend and the owner
Finally here I did ask the boyfriend (in the middle) to tilt a little bit his head, as I was fascinated by his hair. He complined with a beautifull smile.

That was the second group, before dancing and each of the women has another expression, but they where all determined to do it despite the rain coming more and more. They did not stop their French Cancan, in the poring rain.
But if I look at my own picture better, suddenly I observe this elderly gentlemen, sitting around the stage, determined, even without umbrella to enjoy the French CanCan! And the girls danced all to the end and he stayed too.
This picture, and other I had taken of them, from some unknown nice woman's umbrella, as I did not bring one with me that day, remakes for me the symbol : once prepared, there, go on whatever comes your way.

Two of the boys in the interaction are my grandchildren, August 2004 in MD USA swimming party, at the end of summer. This was a discussion, after it they got together, two of my grandchildren and the young girl with a bird very well.
This photo remains one of my favorites
as I succeeded so well to catch not only the interaction between the kids, but each others very different expression.

It is so wonderful to feel part of a team, and such a wonderful one we already forged! Looking now forward with a lot of optimism for the next year, my 80th year. .
For a while I can not do standup comedy that I have taken up at 77, only "sit down comedy" and yes, I succeed to make laugh my careers, too.
