We drove up the "Going to the Sun" Road from West Glacier. It was closed before Logan Pass because of a road washout last November but was still a spectacular drive. The entire road should be repaired and opened by July 1st, 2007. The lower part of the road accends through the "U" shaped glacial valley on the right, makes a spectacular hair-pin turn behind this image, and heads to Logan pass (and down to St. Mary's when open) on the left.
