This is a morning view of the Eastern Sierra overlooking the Alkaline ponds taken during our Mammoth Lakes Workshop. Every direction we looked the colors and light seemed to scream, "Take me, Take me!"

During our Mammoth Lakes Workshop we spent one sunrise and a sunset at this interesting place. The nice thing about this place were the unobstructed views in every direction allowing shots where ever the light or colors were good.

The light beams were great in Upper Antelope Canyon recently. What you don't see in this image is our guide behind the outcropping on the left throwing scoop after scoop of sand in the air to define the beams. He was a sand throwing machine which made for a lot of light beam images and very dusty face and camera!!
