One of the last small blooming roses along the park lake shore drinking in the warm autumn sun. A freeze is forecast in a couple of days and they will all be saying farewell, so my last chance to preserve their beauty until next spring. Shot with my telephoto since overhead and hard to reach.

Was leaving to go take photos at our local park when I found this Clouded Yellow Butterfly on our sunpatiens. Had to grab a quick photo. Had to shoot with the lens I had on at the time, my 70-200 f4L IS with 1.4 T/C.
