Noticed these tiny petals and leaves from the nearby crabapple tree that were blown off from the strong winds and laying in a puddle on the asphalt walk trail and thought they were worth a photo for something different.

From a very short walk on the walk trail this morning. 40°F with 25-35mph winds made it very hard to get focus but had to try. Overcast with sun breaking through for a few seconds on occasion

Tiny blooms along dam did their best to hang on after a few nights below freezing, but it was time to say goodbye. The next day the park cleared out all the left behind wilted flowers and foliage for the season.

Made a quick stop at the beginning of the walk trail looking for signs of Spring that will arrive March 19th. Found a few. Had to grab some photos since a hard freeze is forecast for the night of March 17th. Hoping these survive.
