Chinook from the nearby Army training center lifting off to do practice a few maneuvers in the large field by the airport. Stopped by the Airpower History Tour put on by the Commerorative Air Force at their Heart Of America Wing in Gardner, Kansas for a very short time. Having sensor issues with my camera so many photos not sharp, especially distant and in-flight photos, will be sending to Canon to get checked out. As always, sorry for so many photos, just saving to my Air Shows Album even if not the best.

Heavy sun glare as they taxied toward the hangar area. One of the Blue Angels' F/A-18 Hornets arrived at Kansas City's Downtown Airport today to work out plans for their participation in the July 2019 Kansas City Air Show. Got photos of one back in 2014, as well. Quality of many photos is not good, lots of digital noise, etc. The plane came in from an unexpected angle then went and behind the hangar so only a couple of seconds to grab focus. No need to comment, just saving to albums.

While walking thru a display of vintage helicopters, tanks and aircraft at Forbes Air Force Base, I came around the corner to see this model posing for a photographer while draped in a parachute. Grabbed a quick photo from a distance but only had my 17-55 mm lens so had to crop quite a bit. I asked her if she wore it all the time and she said she wore it everywhere she went, so I believed her. :)
