Start of the annual Missouri 340 River Race starting at Kaw Point in Kansas City, Kanas where Lewis & Clark camped in June of 1804 and discovered the area later to become Kansas City. The race goes 340 miles from Kansas City to St. Charles, Missouri near St. Louis and is the longest continuous river race in the world.
