Young Green Heron now big enough to catch small fish along with its diet of dragonflies. A little motion blur due to not fast enough shutter speed while hand holding my 400mm lens.

Successful young Green Heron catching dragonflies and bugs on its own. Did very well while I watched. Their beaks are starting to change to a dark blue like mom's, starting at the tips. Very shallow DOF on this one, mainly just eye and beak in focus.

One of 5 young Green Heron about 2 weeks old and now hunting on its own. Caught 3-4 dragonflies while I watched. Looks very promising for them at this point.
