Ice covered rooping daffodil bud.
Had to grab a few more photos the morning after some light freezing rain. These are all ice, not liquid drops. Dark and overcast, very flat light and breezy, handheld, most subjects were never still. Had to try to capture before the ice melted not long after. Sorry for so many similar photos, just saving the event to albums. Hopefully the last ice photos this year! :)

All photos shot quickly and handheld. Very shallow DOF....Depth of Frost. :-) Leaf is curving away at bottom so that portion OOF.

Fog and freezing morning temperature created a magical world of gentle artwork with tiny ice crystals. Had to try to capture a bit of it since it wouldn't last long. Low light so colors and detail a bit muted. Sorry for the large number of photos, just saving memories. :-) Haven't been out much due to some hip issues, falling apart. lol

Had a little HDR fun with this very small piece of ice out on the frozen lake in the morning sunlight. Always amazed at the beautiful details hidden in ice. It will be soon be covered with 6-8" of snow tomorrow night if the forecast holds true, so wanted to capture its short lived beauty before it was gone.

Very large display of large, flat ice crystal about 10 feet below a walk bridge in the shallow gently flowing water of the spillway. Crystals are maybe 4-6" across and some flat piece maybe 1-2 feet across, first time to see a display like this there. Unique winter ice art that was gone hours later. No idea why ice forms like it does but it always seems to catch my eye for something different.
