Miniature horse and her very tiny new foal. A very cute sign of Spring. Miniature horses are typically less than 34-38" (86-97cm). Very low light so the quality not the best, but way to cute to pass up. The little one is only about the size of many dogs.

Two of the famous Budweiser Clydesdales horses (Sparky & Levy) arrived at the Overland Park Farmers Market not far from us so I went to see them for the first time. They were unloaded and led to a lot where the public could meet them and get up close and personal for photos, etc. Magnificent horses about 18 hands high and 2100 pounds with 20 inch diameter shoes. The entire team is in town for the Kansas City Royals baseball team's home opener. Their breeding farm is about 100 miles from here.
