Each team pulls a fire truck then a tactical vehicle for time, each weighing 30,000 pounds. One of many fundraisers by Kansas Law Enforcement to raise money each year for Special Olympics. Pulling the 38,000 pound fire truck. Only the Roller Warriors ladies compete in Roller Derby, I assume the guys are husbands, boyfriends or just friends. A fun and colorful group. Took photos at the annual Heroes Pull, a Law Enforcement fundraiser for Special Olympics Kansas. 22 teams this year. Each team pulls a fire truck then a tactical vehicle each weighing 38,000 pounds for 50 feet. The fastest combined time wins. Only .19 seconds separated the top 3 teams. A fun event for a great cause. I apologize for so many photos, just saving to my album again, no need to comment. Made DVD's again for Law Enforcement & Special Olympics. Update: The event raised $9,600 for Special Olympics Kansas.
