The Laona & Northern Railway of Laona, Wisc., fired up 2-6-2 No. 4 for some pre-season test runs on June 11, 2023. The "Four Spot," which was built by Vulcan in 1916 for the Fairchild & Northwestern (becoming L&NRy 4 in 1926) was recently repainted. It has been operating on this same line for 97 years.
