Shot sunrise today at Bow Lake and it was spectacular! The frigid temperature and fresh snow paired perfectly with the glowing rainbow skies to create a magical winter scene. Hard to beat winter sunrises, but they sure are bone chilling to endure! I could barely manage to get my tripod legs open in the bitter cold. The rest of the day we drove up the Icefields Parkway and visited all the lakes along the way to Mistaya Canyon.
