The projection overlays the wood floor in my son's computer room.
The JJ Abrams relaunch of the Star Wars franchise brings back good memories. I noticed JJ doodling away during a group discussion at a charity retreat in Utah, and he kindly gave me his proto-bounty hunter sketch afterward (below). I still have it framed in my office.
Spending the weekend with George Lucas may have had an influence. I recently learned that it was the first time they met.
I was with JJ and George again
in August, and JJ revealed that in the new Star Wars “the fate of the galaxy is in the hands of a girl.”
And a couple fun quotes from my first encounter with
George Lucas:
"With Star Wars, I didn't know what I was doing."
"You can make Star Wars now with one million dollars."
Ha!
