... the two great artists are over the old entrance to the museum. The entrance was built in 1932 and the statues are by Pietro Malendri.
These two great artists have many individual works in the museum. Their work in renovating the Apostolic Palace has also resulted in the two of its greatest and most visited treasures: the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel and the frescoes in the Raphael Rooms.
