This statue was originally a depiction of the god of the Tigris River at the Baths of Constantine. It was moved here around 1540 for the Fountain Dea Roma. It was repurposed into a representation of the Tiber.
The god holds a 'horn of plenty' in his left arm. Romulus and Remus are included under Tiber's right arm; they are a 2nd Century AD addition.
